Description

Magical Spiral Cookies are visually stunning and delicious treats with a swirl of two-toned dough. Perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mix until dough forms.
  5. Divide dough into two equal parts.
  6. Mix cocoa powder and milk into one half.
  7. Roll each dough into a rectangle.
  8. Place one dough on top of the other and roll into a log.
  9. Slice into 1/2-inch pieces and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

  • Chill dough for 30 minutes for easier handling.
