Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Mix in flour and salt until dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool cookies completely before glazing.
- Whisk powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze, then drizzle over cookies.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra zest, add more lemon juice to the glaze.
