Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Mix in flour and salt until dough forms.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Cool cookies completely before glazing.
  7. Whisk powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze, then drizzle over cookies.
