  • 12 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 8 oz pasta penne or your choice
  • 2 cups chicken broth for cooking pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream for creaminess
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for a cheesy finish
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated, for extra flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder for extra seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika for smokiness

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the smoked sausage slices until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add chicken broth and pasta to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook until the pasta is tender, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Season with garlic powder and paprika, stirring well to combine.
  • Serve warm, garnished with extra cheese or fresh parsley if desired!
