Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
(Optional) Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add to the sauce and stir until thickened, about 1–2 minutes.
Taste and adjust—add more honey for sweetness, or more vinegar for a little kick.
Let it cool slightly and use right away, or store in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
This sauce is great for glazing chicken, dipping spring rolls, or tossing with stir-fried veggies.
