Description

Soft and chewy sugar cookies with a hint of jello flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (3 oz) package flavored gelatin (any color)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, sugar, and gelatin together until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.

Notes

  • Use any jello flavor for different color and taste variations.
  • Dough can be chilled for 30 minutes if too soft.
