Description
Soft and chewy sugar cookies with a hint of jello flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (3 oz) package flavored gelatin (any color)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, sugar, and gelatin together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
- Use any jello flavor for different color and taste variations.
- Dough can be chilled for 30 minutes if too soft.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
