Description

Delicious chocolate chip cookies with a gooey center and crispy edges.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
