Description
Crispy cookies with a spicy-sweet twist from gochujang and caramel.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp gochujang paste
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Beat in egg and gochujang.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- Fold in caramel bits.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- Adjust gochujang for more or less heat.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
