Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon orange food coloring (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool.
  6. For ganache, heat cream until simmering. Pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  7. Spread ganache over cooled brownies. Cut into triangles for witch hats.
