  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Stir in milk, melted butter, vanilla, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the batter.
  7. Carefully pour boiling water over the top without stirring.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
