Description
A classic peach crisp with a sweet, buttery topping. Perfect for summer when peaches are in season.
Ingredients
- 6 cups sliced peaches (about 6-7 medium peaches)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Transfer to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over peaches.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Can substitute part of the peaches with berries.
