Description
A simple and flavorful one-pot meal combining sausage and rice with vegetables and spices.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sausage, sliced
- 1 cup rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Stir in rice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
