Description
A quick and easy one-pot meal combining the flavors of a cheeseburger with orzo pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and ground beef, cook until browned.
- Stir in orzo pasta, beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.

- Use lean ground beef for lower fat content.
- Substitute vegetable broth for a lighter version.
- Add pickles or tomatoes for extra flavor.
