Description

A delicious and comforting meatloaf wrapped in creamy mashed potatoes, shaped like a mummy for a fun twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 black olives (for eyes)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Spread mashed potatoes over the meatloaf, leaving gaps to resemble mummy bandages.
  7. Use black olives for eyes.
  8. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.
