Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  4. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Notes
