Description
A quick and delicious twist on classic Rice Krispie treats with warm gingerbread spices.
Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in all spices.
- Quickly fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Press mixture firmly into a greased 9×9 inch pan.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra spice, add 1/4 tsp allspice.
- Press mixture quickly before it cools.
