Description

A quick and delicious twist on classic Rice Krispie treats with warm gingerbread spices.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in all spices.
  4. Quickly fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  5. Press mixture firmly into a greased 9×9 inch pan.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra spice, add 1/4 tsp allspice.
