Description
A quick and easy pasta salad with creamy dressing, sweet peas, and crispy bacon.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta, peas, and bacon to the bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with parsley and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use full-fat mayo and sour cream for best flavor.
- Add extra lemon juice for a tangier taste.
- Replace bacon with ham or skip for a vegetarian version.
