Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 cup cooked BBQ chicken, shredded
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened.
- Add shredded cheese, stirring until melted.
- Mix in BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cooked macaroni and shredded BBQ chicken with the cheese sauce.
- Serve warm.
