Ingredients

  • 4 large apples (such as Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup water


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Core apples, leaving the bottom intact to create a cavity.
  3. Mix oats, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each apple cavity.
  5. Place apples in a baking dish and pour water into the dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until apples are tender.
  7. Serve warm.
